Trivia / Virtual Nightclub

  • Invisible Advertising: Despite the expensive licensing deal to get real musicians into the game, Thumb Candy's niche publishing through the Sci-Fi Channel ultimately killed hopes of VNC hitting the mainstream. Read more about it here.
  • Multi-Disc Work: The game came on 3 CDs, the first for the main club and the other two for the VIP areas. The manual notes that the game can detect multiple discs at once should the player have more than one drive.
  • Real Song Theme Tune: The game opens with Lipsing Jam Ring by T-Power. One of the "Soundwaves" you can get also has this song.
  • What Could Have Been: According to artwork in the game files, VNC originally contained 24 S-warps instead of 16. Some of these remain as optional in-game side quests.
