- Acting for Two: Peo and Captain Zoom were played by the same actor. This is never remarked on aside from the occasional 'You look a lot like Peo' aside from in the end of VVS, where it's used for a Paper-Thin Disguise by Zoom as Peo. It works for long enough.
- Approval of God: Petter Bragée, the writer of the series, has left a comment approving of the series' entry on the site
.note - Dawson Casting: The main characters are mentioned to be "around 13", but the actors were in their late 20's at the time of recording.
- Keep Circulating the Tapes: Due to problems with copyright regarding the music, the original series has never been released on DVD. SVT, however, have been kind enough to show reruns from time to time.
- Queer Character, Queer Actor: Averted by Henrik and Glen's actors. Noteworthy because not only are both Pelle Hanæus (Henrik) and Wilson D Michaels (Glen) openly gay, but by the time they starred in Vintergatan they had already been a couple for several years and even founded a queer-themed theatre together. Yet in the show proper, Glen and Henrik share little to no Ho Yay whatsoever and are only ever shown to be attracted to female characters like Mira and/or Irina.
- Role Reprise: Unbeknownst to many of its younger vievers (but perhaps a nostalgic Easter egg for their parents), Vintergatan was not the first time Anders Linder (Peo's actor) played the role of Captain Zoom - the character was actually the star of his own television show in the 70s'. Maybe it's set in the same universe as Vintergatan?
