  • Early designs for the characters◊ reveals that Arni was originally a small Caucasian boy who carried a large staff, while Erik's helmet originally had horns. The eponymous school also had a completely different design, originally being built into a hilltop overlooking a waterfall
  • Other early work on the show◊ depicts trolls as long-nosed creatures with moss-like hair instead of the Rock Monsters seen in the show, while Doomhild was originally designed as a brunette warrior with a horned helmet. Mr. Hammerson's early design also incorporated a large horned helmet.
