• Author's Saving Throw: The Solid Snake episode, while funny, caught some flak because Snake's story was based on the inaccurate presumption that Snake actually had a relationship with parents (he's a cloned Super-Soldier). A few days after the first video was posted, Doug made a follow-up episode that points this out, forming a different story in its place.
• Creator's Oddball: Unlike Doug's other popular characters who are at the centre of their universe and other people react/interact with their craziness, Dominic is a stoic Straight Man who listens to his clients and just reiterates what they tell him.
• Fake Brit: Doug Walker, a Chicago resident, as Dominic the bartender, a cockney bloke.
• Hilarious in Hindsight: Red explaining that it was Eggman who took the birds' eggs is much more hilarious when you consider who bought Rovio in 2023
