Trivia / Valis: The Fantasm Soldier

• Acting for Two: Both Yuuko Asou and Valia are voiced by Sumi Shimamoto in the PC Engine version of Valis II.
• Fan Translation: For Valis 1 Famicom and Valis II for X68000. The Famicom rendition of Mugen Senshi Valis has an optional easier version.
• Franchise Killer: Valis X, which not only was a Hentai game, but a poorly drawn one at that. Not the glorious revival people were expecting... Subverted when a Compilation Re-release was announced.
• Inspiration for the Work: Most of the development staff enjoyed The Legend of Kage, which helped influence development of the original game.
• No Dub for You: The PC-Engine version of Mugen Sensei Valis was the only to not receive a dub for the overseas re-release, instead receiving a English sub instead.
• Sequel First: The original Valis was the last game in the series that was remade for the PC Engine.
