Trivia / Unwound

• Creator Breakdown: During an interview with Stereogum, Sara explained one of the factors that lead to Unwound's break up was the burn out of Leaves Turn Inside You, the rentless touring and the alcoholic problems everyone was dealing with at the time (in particular with Vern). There was a much more expanded version of what happened on their archival website though. Despite showing no bad qualms with the others and no answer for a reunion, the three did get back their music catalog, set up all of it on Bandcamp and have released box sets of it. They've even set up the Unwound Archive site where fans can add their own experiences/little anectotes to the band's career.
• The Pete Best: Played with regarding Brandt Sandeno. Despite leaving during the recording of the self-titled album, (Which was recorded in 1992, but not released until 1995) he later rejoined the band as a live member during their final tour.
• Promoted Fanboy: David Wilcox was the band's roadie and close friend of the group ended up penning multiple lengthy essays about the band in the box sets, in particular the box set Empire.
• Reclusive Artist: Justin became this for a while, to the point where fans suspected he retired from music. But according to the Noisey interview, he did not.
