  • Acting for Two: In the English Dub:
    • Marc Thompson voices Kid Muscle, Ramenman and Eskara/Mars. So Mantaro's match with Mars qualifies.
    • Eric Stuart voices Dik Dik Van Dik and Mac Metaphor, expect this to come into play whenever Dik Dik has a match.
    • Dan Green voices both Buffaloman, Sosumi and Robin Mask, and the three do share some dialogue.
  • Directed by Cast Member: The English dub was directed by Eric Stuart, who voiced Dik-Dik Van Dik and Mac Metaphor.
  • Fake Brit: In the classical sense of non-British actors portraying British characters, but also in the sense that in the dub, Geronimo (who was originally a member of the Cherokee tribe who was from Oklahoma) was rechristened "Beetlebomb" and voiced like Ringo Starr.
  • Franchise Killer: While the manga was finished, the failure of the anime in Japan ensured that there were no more Kinnikuman projects, aside from the 4Kids-funded 26 episodes that covered the Choujin Olympics Revival Arc (which had to be divided into two 13-episode seasons in Japan, with the first airing in 2004 and the second two years later in 2006, both airing late at night), some low-budget mobile games, some pachinko machines, and a short-lived parody manga called "Kinnikuman Lady." There wouldn't be a major Kinnikuman project until 2011 when the original series was revived in manga form, which would later receive an anime adaptation in 2024.
  • Keep Circulating the Tapes: Only the first 4 episodes of the dub were ever released on video in North America. A second set with the next 5 episodes was planned for release, but it was canceled after 4Kids and Funimation ended their partnership. The rest of the episodes survive through off-air recordings.
  • Late Export for You: The last 26 episodes were produced for markets outside Japan, in which this show did NOT perform so well. Because of this, these episodes were split into two spinoffs: Kinnikuman Nisei: Ultimate Muscle and Kinnikuman Nisei: Ultimate Muscle 2. The first one aired in 2004, and the second one aired in 2006. That's two years after 4Kids aired the final episode!
  • Official Fan-Submitted Content: Many characters are submitted by fans.
  • The Other Darrin: In the dub Buffaloman has a completely different voice in the first 4 episodes compared to his other appearances. In every other appearance outside the Hercules Factory arc he's voiced by Dan Green. But in those first four episodes he's voiced by Wayne Grayson.
    • Road Rage is voiced by Sam Riegel in his first appearance and by Sebastian Arcellus in every episode with him afterward.
  • Short Run in Peru: See Late Export for You; 4Kids first started airing the first of the last 26 episodes one week after episode 51, but Japan didn't start airing that episode until 2004, again, two years after Japan aired episode 51.
