Trivia / Turner the Worm

  • Keep Circulating the Tapes: With most of the strip's run having predated widespread usage of the internet, and recording Teletext onto video not exactly being a common practice, many of Turner's adventures remain difficult to access, if not outright lost.
  • What Could Have Been: "Glug in Love" was meant to have a real-life celebrity (it's unclear who) as the owner of the Cornish pasty that Glug falls in love with. Channel 4's legal department ordered Paul Rose to change it, and so he hastily swapped in Roget, hoping that his real-life counterpart was long-dead and thus not in a position to complain (which, fortunately, he was; the real Peter Roget died in 1869).
