• What Could Have Been: Apparently, the original ending of the film was going to have the gang going to college and would be shown adjusting to their new lives after the events of the movie. It was scrapped as the writers thought that it was an anticlimatic cop-out, while many fans disagree, given the divisive response of the actual ending.
