  • Died During Production: Sunao Yoshida died at the age of 34, with the novel series incomplete and the manga adaptation not even begun yet. His best friend Kentaro Yasui took over on both. Nobody bothered to take over the anime, which ended with a 1st-season cliffhanger, though. The manga ended with 21 volumes in April 2018.
  • No Export for You: The Canon Summa Theologica, which are Yoshida's notes on his plans to continue the story, didn't have an official English release. Fortunately, there is a fan translation.
