• What Could Have Been: Somewhere during development, Creative Assembly wasn't sure about the direction they were going with on Total War: Arena or even if the game was going to be successful so they enlisted the help of WarGaming who had considerable experience with MMO Games when it came to gameplay design and public relations. There is speculation that Arena might've been pushed to a later date or even cancelled by Sega if they didn't approach WarGaming for assistance.
