• What Could Have Been: The episode was originally going to be titled "Ship for Brains", a title Terry McGurrin jokingly pitched in the season's writing room. However, McGurrin and the writers felt that they had to change it, eventually coming up with the title of "Pirates of the Cabbagean". For unknown reasons, the original title was kept in IMDb.
