- Creator's Favorite: The author has stated how MacArthur was his favorite character to write for in the story. He's also stated that Duncan is his favorite character from Total Drama.
- What Could Have Been:
- Originally, the author intended for Duncan and Gwen to get back together right before the latter's elimination. However, after deciding that it was impossible for them to still be on good terms with Courtney this way, the author had Gwen and Courtney become a couple, whereas Duncan would eventually form a relationship with Sanders.
- The author also planned for Noah to be eliminated at the end of TM: Training Montage as a result of his Villainous BSoD following Owen's "The Reason You Suck" Speech, but instead got rid of Owen when they realized they really didn't have anything for Owen after this while Noah's arc could now go in the direction of him trying to make things right between him and Jasmine.
