• Pop-Culture Urban Legends: It's widely rumored among the fandom that Scott's brief Ship Tease with Dawn in the episode was because, back when Revenge of the Island was set to be 26 episodes long like the previous three seasons, it was originally planned by the writers to have Scott romance Dawn to sway her to his side, but that all this subplot was scrapped when production problems shortened the season to 13 episodes only. There's no concrete evidence this is true, however, so many assume it was just a rumor created by the "Dott" shippers, especially if one takes into account how Dawn was one of the last Revenge competitors to be created.
