• What Could Have Been: He was actually a fan of New Japan Pro-Wrestling and wanted to to enter their dojo once he finished his schooling and even had a spot there waiting for him until Mitsuharu Misawa convinced him to go to All Japan Pro Wrestling instead.
  • He was one of the wrestlers considered for the role of Tiger Mask II, before it ultimately went to Misawa.
