Trivia / Tormented Souls

• Dueling Games: Can be considered this with Alisa, the other indie Survival Horror Genre Throwback released within the same year as this game (With notable differences including Alisa using Retraux graphics instead).
• Feelies: Physical copies of the game come with a printed map of the mansion.
• What Could Have Been: The game started development as a mobile game before being retooled into a PC and Console game. What was last seen of the mobile build shares a handful of similarities with the finished game (the Wildberger Hospital setting, the main character and her design, the general visual design of the enemies, few puzzle items) as well as a number of differences (the graphical fidelity, the level layout, few puzzles, being set in the 2000s instead of The '90s, Caroline having both of her eyes intact.)
  • The infamous scene in which Caroline wakes up naked in a tub full of water was also going to be different, specifically Caroline was going to be clothed while unconscious and submerged in the water.
• Write What You Know: Sort of. Developer Dual Effect's lead directors are twin brothers Gaberiel and German Aranedas, and the game is a story revolving around twins.
