  • Creator Backlash: Likely due to its nature, Warner Bros. hasn't renewed this cartoon's copyright in 1971 and thus belongs to the public domain. Director Norm McCabe was also extremely ashamed of this short, even making a public apology for it shortly before his death.
  • Production Lead Time: When production began, Admiral Yamamoto was still alive, but he had been killed by the time it premiered, so that joke about him dictating peacetime in the White House and having the electric chair reserved for him is either darker than it should be or horribly outdated (or both).
