  • Denial of Digital Distribution: While the album itself, like the rest of the King Crimson discography, was made freely available online in 2019, the music video for "Sleepless" has never been officially uploaded anywhere. The only official means of accessing it is as an extra on the concert DVD Neal and Jack and Me.
  • Sequel Gap: "Larks' Tongues in Aspic (Part III)" was released 11 years after the first two parts on Larks' Tongues in Aspic.
  • Tyop on the Cover: The original US CD release by Warner (Bros.) Records lists "Sleepless" as being 3:16 in length, corresponding with the single mix that was used on the US LP and cassette releases. However, the actual track is the UK album version, which is just over two minutes longer. The error is corrected on a 1988 re-pressing, which has the proper 5:20 timestamp on the disc label.
