• Outdated by Canon: The fic began publication on October 12, 2017, a week before the episode "Not A Loud" aired and officially debunked the theory of Lincoln being adopted. In response to reviewers pointing this out, the author claimed he had no idea this episode was about to air when he started his fic, and that it made no difference now since all fanfics are by default not-canon and can thus freely deviate from the source material.
