• Acting for Two:
  • Yuko Gibu voices both Yukie Marui and Mobuko Ikano.
  • Harumi Sakurai voices both Minami Ikoma and Gira.
• Career Resurrection:
  • The entirety of the manga restarted Tamiki Wakaki's career, as elaborated in the manga's Heartwarming Moments page.
  • The dub marked the return of Chris Patton to the anime voice acting world.
• Completely Different Title: Hong Kong dub title: God of Gaming's Walkthrough in Pick-up.
• Cross-Dressing Voices: Dokuro, a woman, is voiced by Samuel Roman in the English dub.
• Inspiration for the Work: Tamiki Wakaki has cited YU-NO as an influence on the manga.
• No Export for You: The light novels. The first one had two exclusive capture targets in Tooru Amami and Asami Yoshino, while the second had Shino Akuragawa and Aoba Fuse.
• Portmanteau Series Nickname: Kaminomi
• Playing Against Type: For the Goddesses Arc english dub, Jessica Calvello, an actress who's usually known to play Genki Girl roles, now lends her voice to Haqua.
• Star-Making Role: Nao Tōyama makes her voice-acting debut here as Kanon. Though with her later succeeding roles, the one here might also qualify as Retroactive Recognition.
• Teasing Creator: In the Volume 12 insert pages (Basically the volume when the Goddesses Arc was introduced with its last three FLAGs), one of the pages included a picture of Chihiro in a wedding dress, a note from Wakaki urging the fans to support the manga and their favorite Goddess hosts, and a small note urging support for Chihiro as well. No one made a great of a deal on that until she dropped the Love Confession in FLAG 165, followed by the arc's Bittersweet Ending in FLAG 189. Then, the story took a massive shift with the second half of the Heart of Jupiter saga, where it appeared that Tenri, or to a lesser extent Ayumi, would eventually win the Ship-to-Ship Combat. Cue the penultimate page of FLAG 267.
• The Other Darrin: Upon the announcement of the Goddesses Arc english dub, some roles fell in this category, to wit:
  • With Brittney Karbowski reprising her role as Kanon, Cynthia Martinez was then called in to voice Chihiro. Which apparently makes the latter the only character in this series so far to be darrin'd twice by the same studio.^explanation Serena Varghese lent her voice to Chihiro's early appearances in Season 1. During Season 2, due to Varghese moving to Los Angeles where she still lives, Karbowski was called in to the said role (which is a coincidence since Kanon wasn't scheduled to reappear in the story until the Four Girls and an Idol OVA), while Martinez voiced Jun Nagase for the same season.
  • Haqua's role, meanwhile, got transferred from one Jessica to another, possibly due to the former's other commitments.
• What Could Have Been: There was a one-shot before the series proper began with a number of differences, including no contract, no memory wipe, a seven day time limit on the catch, a more mature design for Elsie, Keima acting and looking more like your average nerd and less like a Manipulative Bastard and his last name being Imai.
  • Also, Keima's first capture was Mio, who had a more normal physique and no twintails, and was still living in luxury. The prototype also did not give captured girls Easy Amnesia, so she remained infatuated with Keima, much to his chagrin.
