• Acting for Two: In the original series all the voices are done by Bernard Cribbins.
• The Merch: The series was heavily merchandised during the height of the series' popularity in the late 1970's. Products included stuffed toys, stationery, stickers, small figurines, soap, night lights, lamp shades, chocolate bars, gelatin pudding kits, posters, games, shirts and badges.
• Referenced by...: Eddie from Bottom is convinced that wombles are real because he's seen them on the telly.
