• Creator Backlash: FoxWitchWrites would later admit that writing Alya making fun of one of Marinette's new friends for being homeless was too far.
• What Could Have Been: A collection of Deleted Scenes reveals several ideas that were ultimately discarded for various reasons:
  • One sequence had Alya contacting most of her classmates in the class group chat after they'd already come to recognize her Toxic Friend Influence. Several of them call her out on how many problems she caused, while others chat about wishing they had popcorn. Ultimately, the authors decided it didn't fit into the story.
  • Another scene featured Lila attempting to intimidate Amaia, though she only managed to piss her off by threatening her puppy. Lila then breaks into Crocodile Tears, falsely claiming that Amaia struck her, only for Amaia to actually hit her. Since the series went with a lighter version of Lila who undergoes Character Development and eventual redemption, this obviously wouldn't have worked.
  • The third sequence involved Alya and the rest of the girl squad attempting to stage an Operation: Jealousy by setting up Adrien with Amaia... except that Amaia wasn't remotely interested in Adrien, being loyal to her boyfriend Ben. This forced Adrien to fruitlessly pursue Amaia despite her repeatedly rejecting him, with no real explanation as to why he was so invested in the "make Marinette jealous" plan or in getting Amaia to fall for him.
  • The fic itself was originally a multi-book crossover with Code Lyoko titled Time, Practice, and Love, but for various undisclosed real-life reasons, it was discontinued and reimagined as The Wolves in the Woods.
