Trivia / The Wave (2008)

• Dawson Casting: Most of the students are played by actors in their twenties.
• Truer to the Text: Odd example, but the film makes the teacher's anarchist/anti-establishment background a much more important part of the movie which actually reflects the real Ron Jones better than the previous iterations based on him.
• Very Loosely Based on a True Story: The film is based on the Third Wave experiment and Emsdetten school shooting.
