• What Could Have Been: Melissa McBride was announced to be co-leading the show with Norman Reedus, but the production’s relocation to Europe prevented her from being able to participate, resulting in the show being retooled to only star Reedus. However, she made a voice-only guest appearance in the penultimate episode of Season 1, after which it was announced at New York Comic-Con that she would be returning full-time as a regular in Season 2, subverting the trope.
