• Outdated by Canon: The fic depicts Chick Hicks as having managed to get back into racing and doing well enough to get up to the top ranks by the time the first fic starts despite what he did in Cars. Cars 3 shows Chick Hicks dropped out of racing permanently and instead hosts a talk show. Doc is also alive and well whereas in Cars 2 and Cars 3, he died in between the first and second films.
