- He Also Did: Ivan had previously appeared on Only Connect in Series 15 as part of the Choristers.
- Romance on the Set: Poor Matt, who thought he'd found love with Alex only to find out that she was already with Tom. Helped add to the drama of the fallout from the announcement of their relationship.
- Movie Multipack: Both this series and The Traitors (US) were filmed consecutively, taking advantage of having the same filming location and challenges. The US version was actually filmed first, though the British version aired first.
- Word of Saint Paul: Vis-a-vis an important offscreen incident that wasn't caught on camera but greatly influenced the show. In Series 1, Alyssa goes from being a highly competent traitor to seeming much more nervous and falling under a jarring amount of sudden suspicion. Cast interviews from after Series 1 revealed the reason for her Badass Decay: offscreen, they had been waiting for a setup and were mimicking host Claudia. Alyssa chose to say "Hello, traitors!"...a sentence that none of the Faithful had ever heard, and which utterly turned the tide against Alyssa.
Series 2
- They Also Did: Paul and Kyra both went on Deal or No Deal in 2010 and 2023 respectively. Kyra dealt for £1,800 and Paul wound up with... 10p.
