• Chronically Killed Actor: Tatsumari plays a lot of characters who get killed, like Braxton, Jonah Abadi, and Albrecht Stigler. And those are just the named characters. He voices plenty of extras who die, too, like the Centurions and some civilians.
• Descended Creator: Series creator, writer, and editor, Jacob Whittington, voices several of his own characters, such as Saul, Guardian, Logan, Riopel, and 'Krudom, 'Sumon, and 'Kosos, to name a few.
• The Other Darrin:
  • While Jacob typically reprises most of his roles, he ended up passing the role of Shipmaster 'Kodomee to Hugh Verheylewegen for Omega Halo, which is a remake of the original Spartans, where he voiced the character himself. Many, including Jacob himself, regard Verheylewegen's performance as the superior and definitive voice for the character.
  • Theresa Denver was played by Emma Gordon in Lifebringer, but is replaced by Darkfeather for Brotherhood War. As was the case with the Shipmaster, many fans prefer Darkfeather's performance for her range and acting chops during Denver's quieter, emotional scenes.
  • Sean Valley voiced Albrecht in Zulu Flight but is replaced with Tatsumari for Hyborean.
• Role Reprise: The series has many long-standing voice actors who typically reprise their characters for almost every appearance.
  • Jacob reprises almost every character he's played since the very beginning, with the longest being that of Guardian, the most recurring character in the series.
  • Carrie Whittington also voices Katherine across the entire series.
  • Riley Mikesell continues playing the role of Zach into the present day, despite the near decade gap between his character's three appearances.
  • Tristyn Mak has played Sergeant Scott ever since his debut in Generation.
• What Could Have Been: Jacob has stated in the "Looking Back" video for Brotherhood War that Hugh Verheylewegen prevented the Reformation from being cliché rebels by coming up with the characters of Nyla Isaka and Marcus Garrett, and it was his idea to make Garrett into a Spartan to create personal conflict for Zach.
