• Awesome, Dear Boy: Paul Anka was eager to guest star after being previously mentioned in "Grampa vs Sexual Inadequacy".
• Deleted Scene: In "Attack of the 50-Foot Eyesores", Kang and Kodos have a plan by using a giant devil to attack Springfield.
• Edited for Syndication: The bit in "Attack of the 50-Foot Eyesores" where a stoned Otto thinks its not real, and the bit in "Homer³" where Frink explains the third dimension using a drawing of a cube with Homer's face in it.
• Throw It In!: As the camera pans at the end of "Homer³", a line of traffic can be seen backed up on the street - because the showrunners couldn't stop traffic for the shoot.
• What Could Have Been:
  • According to David Mirkin, he tried to get Al Gore to host the episode, but the producers got no response to their request. "There was an eerie silence", Mirkin said. He added that "if the VP decides now to pursue this showbiz offer, it's just too late [...] He missed his chance."
  • The original idea for "Homer³" was that Homer would visit several dimensions, including one where everything was made out of paper cut-outs, but they decided that it would be too complicated.
• Write What You Know: "Attack of the 50-Foot Eyesores", was written by John Swartzwelder, who had previously worked at an advertising agency.
