• Surprisingly Lenient Censor: The staff had a "big fight" with the censors over Santa's Little Helper mating with She's The Fastest. The writers were originally worried about the idea, but David Mirkin knew that they could show the dogs having sex in a manner that was not explicit. In the final version, the dogs are only seen from the shoulders up. Director Bob Anderson noted that during the episode's censor screening, there was a giant laugh at the depiction.
