• Deleted Role: There was supposed to be a scene with The Doors guitarist, Robby Kreiger. However, during production, Mke Scully thought that the scene stood out too much and that Krieger's cameo felt "too obviously shoe-horned in," so the scene ended up being cut from the episode. The scene was later included in The Simpsons: The Complete Twelfth Season DVD set.

• Distanced from Current Events: Channel 4 scrapped a planned rerun of the episode that was set to go out the day after their broadcast of Leaving Neverland, due to the appearance of the Michael Jackson impersonator. The episode has since returned to rotation with his scenes removed.
