Trivia / The Sarah Jane Adventures S1 E1-E2 "Revenge of the Slitheen"

• Acting for Two: Ian Midlane plays the real Mr Jeffrey and the Slitheen who assumes his identity, as well as providing the voice for the unmasked Jeffrey Slitheen.
• Prop Recycling: An internal case. Rather than use the Slitheen costumes from Doctor Who, two new adult Slitheen (plus the child) were created for The Sarah Jane Adventures. Though three adult Slitheen appear in the flesh in this story, they work around this issue by having them appear seperately.
• What Could Have Been: As noted on the main page, Janine was intended to be in her twenties in the script (specified as 28 in the novelisation), but ended up being played by the 47-year-old Imogen Bain. The role was also offered to Debbie Chazen, who told her agent she would like to appear in Doctor Who itself and was worried accepting a role on a spin-off might rule it out; upon finding this out, Russell T Davies immediately offered her the role of Foon in "Voyage of the Damned".
• Word of Dante: According to Phillip Lawrence of the website Action Figure Theatre, the actors playing the Slitheen made up their own national anthem dubbed "Slitheenia".
