  • In the Cold Open, Luz's hair is ruffled and she has dirt on her cheek. When the depicted scene happens in the body of the episode, Luz's hair and face are normal.
• Development Gag: One of the outfits in Luz’s closet is her original outfit from the show’s unaired pilot◊. She also picks up a red bat, which Luz is seen wielding in "beta" concept art, and Camila's green jacket also resembles the one wore by "beta" Luz.
• Fandom Nod: A common crossover theory in the fandom is that Eda has met Stan from Gravity Falls, and is the woman he married in Las Vegas. Stan's ex was named "Marilyn" and this episode confirms that Eda has used that name as an alias in the human realm, likely a wink to fans that their Vegas crossover theory may actually hold some water.
