• What Could Have Been: An early draft of Dreams of Federation had Valery Shukshin's minister, ally, and close friend Amet-Khan Sultan replaced by Vladimir Putin, who's was explicitly said to have died alongside his family as a child in Leningrad in the base TNO game.
