• The Other Darrin: Since the voice cast of this series was based in Vancouver instead of Los Angeles like the original cartoon, all the returning characters get new voice actors.
• Screwed by the Lawyers: The main reason Filmation elements never popped up in the series. This problem would affect the franchise as a whole up to even the 2021 toylines & cartoons, as certain companies owning certain elements of the franchise would bar their use in new media.
• What Could Have Been:
  • Initial proposals for a hypothetical Season 2 were discussed on a He-Man message board by the show’s writers, most notably Man-At-Arms making a Face–Heel Turn as the setting returned to Eternia and the return of other regular characters including She-Ra and the Sorceress. The show and toyline were cancelled before the proposals were formally presented to Mattel, however.
  • According to a Facebook post for the "Ancient Library of Grayskull", Orko would have joined He-Man on his journey to Primus...not to mention that Skeletor would've had a sister named Skeletrix, who had a major crush on He-Man.
  • An early concept would have focused on He-Man's son He-Ro being launched into space to avoid some disaster hitting Eternia and landing on Primus.
• Working Title: Was originally going to be called Son Of He-Man back when it was going to focus on He-Man and Skeletor's sons.
