Trivia / The Moment Of Truth

Go To

  • Creator Backlash: Mark Walberg had this moment when he gave disclaimers on the fifth episode where a contestant fully admitted to having an affair with someone else and that they wanted to be married to the person who had asked the question (their ex-spouse, too). He fully admitted that he was so uncomfortable that he wanted the episode to not air. The producers intervened and still aired it anyway.
  • Keep Circulating the Tapes: The show hasn't been seen ever since it was originally aired in 2008. The production company, Lighthearted Entertainment, had once had all episodes (including the unaired Season 2) uploaded to their YouTube channel, but they had recently removed all of the episodes for reasons unknown (though this might be attributed to shame for making embarrassed contestants, since the show is not referenced at its website).
  • Missing Episode: Fox had ordered additional episodes to attribute them as the second season of the show, though the 15-episode run was never aired on the network. Lighthearted Entertainment once had all fifteen unaired episodes on their YouTube channel (including a $500,000 win), but they have disappeared.
