• Follow the Leader: It was very clearly made to cash-in with the hype of both the American remake of Godzilla and Disney’s remake of Mighty Joe Young (the movie was even called The MIGHTY Kong probably to trick parents into buying it for their kids over the Disney film).
• What Could Have Been: If this poster◊ is any indication, it’s possible that the movie was originally going to have a much darker tone more in lieu with the original movie and its remake.
