- Beam Me Up, Scotty!: The opening line, as seen on the main page, is often misquoted as "Gregor Samsa awoke one morning to discover that he had been transformed into a giant cockroach," or something that includes the word "cockroach." The narrative simply refers to him as an insect (and the German original is not even that specific - "Ungeziefer" means roughly "vermin"). The misquote is from a scene in The Producers, when Max is reading potentially flop-worthy plays (and decides that this one is "too good").
