• Fake Nationality: Italian actor Lino Ventura plays French detective Brunel.
• Fake Shemp: Due to only having a short time before he was due to film The Wild Geese, Richard Burton is quite clearly not the bandaged man in the hospital.
• Hey, It's That Place!: The boarding school that John burned down is Oakley Court. Used in several movies including various Hammer Horror films and The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
• Prop Recycling: The spacesuit collars and helmet seen in a photograph of the ill-fated astronauts are reused from Space: 1999, another ITC Entertainment production.
• Same Language Dub: Italian actor Lino Ventura is dubbed by English voice actor David de Keyser.
