• Cut Song: The South Pole level was intended to have its own song, but the song was cut from the final product, likely because it sounded too somber. In the final product, the Great American Forest theme was used for the South Pole, as it sounded more upbeat.
• What Could Have Been: Early in development, seals were planned to be enemies in the South Pole. However, because one of Donald's weapons was a hammer, the developers decided against having him attacking seals with it, and the seals were replaced with yetis in the final product.
