- Keep Circulating the Tapes: Unlike its precursor, Lost Vikings 2 was never released by Blizzard in any form until it was included in the 2021 Blizzard Arcade Collection. Norse by Norsewest, the 32-bit version, is still unavailable on modern platforms due to the fact that it was not developed by Blizzard.
- Port Overdosed: The original game, on the other hand, was re-released by Blizzard several times, from ports to the Genesis, GBA and several home computers, to a freeware rerelease on Battle.net, to a remastered version on the Blizzard Arcade Collection which combined the features of the Genesis and SNES versions.
