- Keep Circulating the Tapes: Given that the game was only available on the Wii when it first released, and there are no plans for a remaster or remake since with the Denial of Digital Distribution not helping the situation, it has become this trope over time. Nowadays, copies of the game are sold online for much higher than its original price when it first released. Fortunately, there are recordings of gameplay available online for those who don't have a copy of the game themselves.
- Network to the Rescue: XSEED Games. While Nintendo of America was wiling to bring over Xenoblade Chronicles 1 if it was successful in Europe (and it was, so they did), they seemed less enthused in the other two JRPGs that the Operation Rainfall fan campaign wanted: The Last Story and Pandora's Tower. XSEED decided to get the North American publishing rights to The Last Story for a 2012 release, and by the end of the year, it had become their best-selling published game to-date
, which encouraged them to publish Pandora's Tower in early 2013 as well.
