- Follow the Leader: This show being one of Tex Avery's last works it is rather easy to tell a lot of the characters are inspired by the MGM characters Avery, Barbera and Hanna used to work on.
- Kwicky Koala's laid back style and way of coming out on top is following from Droopy.
- Wilford Wolf is clearly a relative of Mildew Wolf from "It's the Wolf", complete with his voice actor doing a Paul Lynde impression. Which happened to be John Stephenson, who took over voicing Mildew on Laff-A-Lympics.
- Posthumous Credit: Tex Avery was in the middle of producing this show when he died. The show was broadcast over a year after his death.
- Screwed by the Network: Some might remember this show more for its ... rather strange treatment it got on the Cartoon Network in their promos. Aside from airing the whole show once on their Boomerang block, this is one of the shows CN otherwise never aired in its 30-minute format.
