- Serendipity Writes the Plot: David "Gangrel" Heath and Gertrude "Luna" Vachon divorced in Real Life in 2006, while both were on the roster. Then it came out that Heath had found a new side gig, directing porn films for something called the NPO, the New Porn Order. This provided the excuse to release Heath. Vachon subsequently retired, and died in 2010.
- What Could Have Been:
- The teams The Island Boys (Kimo [Rosey], Ekmo [Jamal/Umaga] and Mana)note and The Untouchables (Deuce 'n Domino and Cherry) never appeared on JWL TV due to WWE releasing Deuce, Domino and Cherry and the three subsequently falling off of the radar, Mana retiring and Ekmo's passing.
- Episode 54 was originally intended to feature Kane defeating Ric Flair, with a main event of JWL World Heavyweight Champion Chris Benoit defeating Stevie Richards. Kane would have attacked Benoit after the match to set up a feud that would have culminated in Kane winning the title. The Benoit tragedy cancelled those plans.
- Lex Luger was going to be the flagship for Dusty's Dream Team prior to Elizabeth's death.
- "Stone Cold" Steve Austin was going to be a Heel as a member of the Royals, until he was arrested for beating up Debra.
- The intended blowoff for the Ric Flair vs. Shane Douglas feud would have been an FMW-style No Rope Barbed Wire Exploding Cage Death Match. This was abandoned due to the realization that neither guy would really be in the kind of shape needed to do this match and that there likely isn't much of a demand for this kind of match anymore.
- Victoria debuting on Episode 54 by coming out of the crowd and hitting Trish Stratus with a chair drew such a negative reaction on WrestlingClassics.com that the feud was abandoned and Trish was retired from the roster.
- The only remaining ideas were Samoa Joe defeating Johnny Nitro in the final of the tournament to fill the vacant JWL World Heavyweight Title, and The Dangerous Alliancenote defeating Dusty's Dream Team note in War Games. The author had no idea where he was supposed to go from there.
