- Technology Marches On: When the game was released, FMV was in its infancy and the full motion MPEG videos in the game couldn't be played without plug in card for your PC with a built in hardware MPEG decoder - The computers of that era lacked sufficiently powerful processors and enough memory to decode MPEG videos using software. The game was even bundled with the cards as a demonstration of their abilities.
- What Could Have Been: Jim Carrey was given a choice; Either taking the role as Chauncey in this game, or signing a contract for a risky movie deal. He chose the latter; Said deal turned out to be Ace Ventura.
- Michael Richards was signed on, but due to his animal rights beliefs at the time he objected to cows being killed in the game and dropped out.
- Earlier on, the developers wanted Martin Short to play Chauncey. Executives intervened, stating that he was "box office poison".
