    • While Josh still doesn’t like Mario Kart: Double Dash!!, he believes he focused too much on Accentuating the Negative in his review. Due to spending his whole life surrounded by people who shared his disappointment with Double Dash, he assumed nobody liked the game. Josh admitted in the comments that had he been aware of the game's Cult Classic status he'd have acted more nuanced in his analysis.
    • Josh has a low view of his original video on Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble! finding he spent too much of the video focused on Kiddy Kong instead of the game itself. Not helping matters is that Josh admitted he wrote most of the script before he actually finished the game, despite not having done a full playthrough of it in nearly a decade. This contributed to his decision to re-review the game in 2022, with said video going out of its way to avoid mentioning or showing Kiddy.
    • During his Metroid Fusion review, he allowed his friend and editor Covarr to make a counter-argument to his review. While Covarr does dislike the game for its linearity, the bit was intended to be tongue-in-cheek, playing himself up as an elitist manchild. The viewers hated it due to how jarring and condescending it sounded, with fans not realizing it was supposed to be satirical. Josh ended up apologizing for it in a tagged comment a few months later, and the two would joke about it in a 2023 redux review.
    • While he stands by his overall opinion of the games, Josh has admitted it was a mistake to play every game in the Metroid Prime Trilogy with a different control and hardware method.note  Josh said had he known the Trilogy Collection lowered the games' difficulty by default, he would've just played the original releases of all three games.
