  • Awesome, Dear Boy: Ray Chase signed onto the mod to voice Tiberius Rancor because he was a huge fan of the series. Notably, he didn't even get paid to do it and only had two requests for performing in it: to play the main villain, and to always have sunglasses on.
  • Creator Backlash:
    • The drama resulting from the mod's fetishistic content, plus the revelation that one of the project artists drew pornographic art of child characters, caused many of the developers quitting after /v/ led raids on a Tyler McVicker livestream interview and the Discord server at the same time. This was one of the reasons "tgspy", the mod's very own team leader, ended up quitting the mod team for a while, before coming back to help rewrite the NCR storyline.
    • Speaking of the NCR storyline, several devs who worked on the mod admitted they hated it, but were forced to keep it as it was because a dev behind many impressive features, Devilwish182, threatened to delete all of his contributions to the mod if the NCR storyline was touched without his permission, being his own creation.
  • Creator's Pest: Multiple creators has expressed distaste at both the Enclave and its' fanbase, making fun of the Enclave in loading screens and easter egg events and going as far to compare Enclave fans(both the Vocal Minority with legitimate apologetic views towards them and the larger section of the Enclave fanbase that acknowledge that the Enclave are evil and moreso enjoy them as villains, with the latter group being conflated with the former) to contemporary IRL far-right movements.
  • The Danza: Mike Burnfire voices an expy of himself, a trader named Burns.
  • Doing It for the Art: Ray Chase agreed to be a part of the mod for free, with the only conditions being that he get to voice an antagonist who wears sunglasses at all times.
  • Dummied Out: Nowhere near as much as the main game, but there are still a few of these.
    • Originally the town of Promise was going to be much larger and feature its own short questline. Most of the things planned for Promise were later re-worked into quests for the town of Irvington.
    • Irvington was going to have a quest called "Ghost Stores" that was cut for content reasons and for being hopelessly broken.
    • A modern take on the caravan defense missions from the first two games was planned and fully implemented, but cut when the developers realized it just wasn't very fun.
    • Due to controversy surrounding the game's content and development, a large amount of content was completely removed in the 0.5 version and the preceding 0.4.5 patch. Among the stuff removed was:
      • Absolutely everything made by the former developer responsible for the icons, due to the massive scandal involving him. This included every icon on the mod, as well as a plush of his fursona and a Creator Cameo.
      • A lot of content made by other developers that distanced themselves from the mod was also removed.
      • The darker paths of America's dialogue, including the enslavement option, were removed
      • The Deathclaw bestiality was also removed.
      • The Trochili were removed from the mod, but they will return as an addon.
  • Keep Circulating the Tapes: The pre-0.4.5 version of the mod, which contains the more controversial content and content removed by request in later versions, has been preserved by several people all over the internet; whether for archiving a piece of Fallout modding history or due to Bile Fascination. There's people that ported the fixes of later versions to the old one.
  • What Could Have Been:
  • Writer Revolt: The NCR path tends to get the most flack for dubious writing and violating the franchise lore, to the point that, after release, several devs openly admitted to hating it and being stonewalled from tweaking it during production. Why? Because it was the pet-project of a single developer, "Devilwish182", who was responsible for some of the mod's more impressive features due to him scripting them, and he threatened to delete everything he worked on and tank the entire mod if anybody touched it without his permission. It was only after he left the dev team note  in September 2020 and the mod's disastrous launch in January 2021 that it was decided that the NCR plot would be reworked from scratch.
