- Acting for Two: Dominique Meyer voices Zeta and 664.
- Author's Saving Throw: In the afterword of volume 4, Daisuke states that when writing the web novel, he uses the reactions he receives online to modify certain events to improve the light novel, which became a problem after volume 3 due to his decision to take the light novel to a different direction completely different from the web novel, which is why volume 4 took so long to make.
- Meaningful Release Date: Volume 6 released on October 30, 2023; a day before Halloween. Fittingly, this is the same volume where Cid creates a Monster Clown alter ego based off of London's most notorious Serial Killer.
- Playing Against Type:
- Rina Hidaka voices Claire Kagenou, an Aloof Dark-Haired Girl. Hidaka usually voices younger girls than Claire.note
- Adam Gibbs usually voices The Stoic, Only Sane Man and Deadpan Snarkers like Hikigaya, Oreki and Natsume. Cid is a far cry from those roles.
- Molly Searcy usually voices women with Sugar And Ice Personalities like Akame and Jeanne. Here, she voices Victoria who looks pretty but is a major nutcase who is willing to kill anyone who get in Cid/Shadow's way.
- Promoted Fanboy: The director of the anime was already a fan of the series and even read the web novel with him making several references to it such as giving Chi and Omega an Adaptational Early Appearance and including a conversation between Alexia and Iris in the Corporate Warfare Arc.
- Typecasting: According to the director's notes for episode 16, he took the opportunity to cast Hikaru Midorikawa as Mundane Mann, Cid's alter ego during his stint at the Bushin Festival, due to being typecast as competitors labeled as pathetic "small-frys".
- Voiced Differently in the Dub: Alexia and Delta had deeper voices in English than in Japanese.
