• What Could Have Been:
  • Originally, the author planned for Issei to summon Scathach instead of Musashi to serve as his teacher. Scathach was ultimately scrapped because the author felt that having her as his teacher would make him OP.
  • Since Issei wasn't going to have Boosted Gear, Starlight's Poet originally intended to give it to Vali, even though he would already have Divine Dividing at his disposal. The idea was discussed further with One Punch DxD: Legacy author ahsoei for someone else to inherit Boosted Gear.
