• Development Hell: Production went on a standstill after 2011. It was only after securing more funding via Patreon during the COVID-19 Pandemic that the short was able to resume production in full.
• Dueling Works: With the first episode of Hullabaloo, another Disneyesque hand-drawn crowdfunded indie animated project centered around steam-powered vehicles. They were released onto YouTube around the same time. While this one is just a standalone short, Hullabaloo is planned to continue for three more shorts and potentially a feature film.
• Extremely Lengthy Creation: Andrew Chesworth began making the short in 2008, but it didn't release until 2023. That's 15 years for a 7-minute film.
