- Banned in Boston: The series was seen as very controversial when initially aired, with eight of the 232 NBC affiliates - mostly in the Bible Belt - refusing to air the series as schedule due to its content. However Utah's NBC affiliate KSL aired the episodes as scheduled despite a history of preempting shows with what they considered to be controversial.
